On 22nd May, the Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University successfully hosts the 4th New HSK. It is the largest one when Hanban introduced new HSK in Turkey with the largest number of participants. A total number of 68 people participated in Level 1, Level 2 , Level 3 and Level 5 tests. The people from Ankara University, Erciyes University, Billkent University and Middle East Technial University took part in the examination, and among them there were Turkish teachers of Chinese and community who study Chinese.
To safeguard the smooth progress of the examination, the Confucius Institute did a lot of preparation work. Before registration, Director Wang Shanping communicated with directors from other universities on problems of sub-venues; after registration, the Confucius Institute made great explanation and guided for the peole to prepare different levels of HSK respectively . Before examination, director Wang Shanping presided the examination council to arrange the examination process, rules, ect.
Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University has successfully organized the new HSK four times, with a great increase in the number of participants.This substantial increase depends on the Confucius Institute’s continuouspromotion and the improving organization.Director Wang Shanping indicates that with the strong support of Chinese Language Council International, the Confucius Institute at Middle East Technical University, based on the Chinese teaching and the organization of cultural activities, will emphasize more on cooperation with other universities. With the increasing number of participants, the Confucius Institute will gradually improve the organization and provide better service for all the participants, the new HSK will be in great prospects in Turkey.
